The jury trial session is to prevent malpractice and cheating of players. After a league is completed, the jury trial session will be held. Juries will judge a claimed league by reviewing the recorded video of the league and forfeit game participation fees of cheating players whose all forms of cheating and malpractice are revealed during the session.
Accuser players can request a jury trial session to review any malpractice and cheating of the counterparty. When they request the jury trial session, the accusers need to stake the total amount of the game participation fee as collateral. These fees are to prevent accusers from conducting a false report. If the accusers win the session, the staked amount will be returned to the accusers and they will get rewards by receiving a part of the defendant's game participation fees.
When the league play is completed, the players will be informed if they are put on a jury trial session as defendants for malpractice and cheating of the league play. They are required to provide the recorded gameplay video within the designated time for juries' review. Unless presenting the recorded video within the time limit, it is deemed that the defendant players admit malpractice and cheating and the defendant will lose the session. If the defendants disagree with a trial session result, they can apply for new trials up to twice after adding additional fees that they set as collateral for the trial. In the last instance, the operating team can intervene as a referee. If the defendants win the trial, they will receive a return of their game participation fees and the game rewards of the league. If they lose the session, they will lose all staked amount of game participation fees and collateral.
Juries play a role in reviewing a league play claimed by accusers and judge whether the league players violate the game rules. Excluding the players who join the league for the trial, all platform participants can apply for juries after staking the same amount of fees that league players stake for the game participation. The juries can also choose a winning party of the trial session between the accuser and defendant before the trial. If the jury’s pre-trial decision was correct, the staked tokens will be returned to the juries and they will share rewards with the winning party. If the jury’s pre-trial decision was wrong or the jury failed to perform due diligence, the whole staked amounts will be forfeited.
Jury is one of the unique user categories in Trouble Punk. Juries can review a league play claimed by an accuser and decide on a verdict. All platform participants, except the players who join the league for this jury trial session, can apply for juries by staking the same value of game participation fee in a combination of $TROB and $USDC. The juries can choose a winning party of the trial session before the trial begins and get rewards upon the session results. If the jury’s pre-trial decision was correct, the staked $TROB and $USDC will be returned and the juries will get rewards. If the jury’s pre-trial decision was wrong or the jury failed to perform due diligence, the staked amounts will be forfeited.
Accusers are players participating in a claimed league play. All players can demand a jury trial session for a league result. To request a jury trial session, accusers need to stake total amounts of the accuser’s game participation fee right after the league is completed. If the accuser wins the case, the staked amount will be returned and they will get rewards by receiving a part of the defendant's game participation fees.
Defendant is the counterparty of accuser for a jury trial session, and also players participating in a claimed league play. If the play is claimed for the jury trial session, the game rewards of defendants are locked. In addition to a stake of additional fees, which is equal to the game participation fee, they are required to provide the recorded gameplay video within the designated time for juries' review. The defendant will get rewards if they win a jury trial session.
